DIRECTED THREE COMMERCIALS in one weekend!
It's been a very busy month. I was in Hollywood with Christian working on two television commercials. We shot one on 7D and the other on 35mm. We went through five cans of film. It was great. Then the next weekend I was on the set of a western with real horses and the whole shebang! Last weekend I stepped into the Director's role for three viral commercials shot at New American Standard MPC for an upcoming iPad application. It was nice to be in the Director's chair officially. It had been a while. That was AWESOME!! Thank you Kevin Calumpit, Cody Long, Eric Beels and the entire crew at New American Standard MPC!

"LAST WILD RIDE" is a Western Short we just shot on RED!
It stars James Simmons and Yasmin Assemi, was directed by Mike Flight of Red Motion Studios. I was the Assistant Director and on set VFX Supervisor. I'll be handling the post production supervision as well VFX Producer roles. Just finished a movie poster concept for it and we now have an award winning composer onboard to score the film. I'm looking forward to getting the edit. It's a beautiful short film. We're speaking to a major studio about funding a feature version.

"H.I.S.T.Z.A" is in Film Festivals! Nils 'Boo-Boo' Stewart stars in it and has a cameo in "Twilight Eclipse"!!!
I should have posted this a while ago, but I was waiting for the film to make it's rounds and for the film's director to be more comfortable telling secrets about it. I filmed some behind the scenes footage and also have a shot of Boo-boo giving a shout out to two of the girls I love the most. Christian Cantamessa is the film's director. He is also the lead designer on Red Dead Redemption at Rockstar Games. Our original plan was to make three short films then start working on a feature film. Things are definitely trending in the right direction.

"Cursed Ground" wins AVA Award for Best Overall Production!
If you haven't heard...I've been working with this wonderfully talented team of direlects over at New American Standard, a Motion Picture company in San Diego. Yes they are pure geniuses! We've been tapped to start production on our own feature film. We are working on deciding what to shoot! How about them apples.

"H.I.S.T.Z.A" is in post production! Our Third Film! This time we made a Horror flic!
So we've reached our goal of making three short films with this, our third short live action film. The goal was three short films and then on to feature films. Congrats to all who worked on H.I.S.T.Z.A. I'm looking forward to seeing that film completing post production and heading out to the festivals. I did a little behind the scenes video for this production. I'll post it when the time is appropriate. I also look forward to working with Red Barrell Films again.

"Henchmen" is an Official Selection of the San Diego Comicon International Film Fest
Congratulations once again to the Director Christian Cantamessa and Producer Yvonne Samesch. It was our first film and it was made on a very modest budget. Not too shabby. Let's do a bigger one and shoot for Cannes!

"Henchmen, A Job To Die For"
Congratulations to the entire crew for 'Henchmen'! We've picked up another film festival accolade. It is truly an honor to be an official selection for the DIY Film Festival 2008. Henchmen was also an official selection for the Anchorage International Film Festival 2007, Films Worth Freezing For. This was our first live action short film. Congratulations to all. It was truly one of my greatest pleasures to have been the Assistant Director for this film.

"iGod"
This is our second live action short film. It is in post right now for audio and special effects. I can't post much about it except that I look forward to working with all of you guys again soon. It was an exciting ride. I'm looking forward to seeing the final cut. It was an honor to be an Assistant Director on this shoot. (More news to come...)

"Little Devil"
This is a 3 minute all cg short film that I've been working on in my spare time. I'm very happy to say that it is almost finished. I'll post a making of and more information as soon as it's fully in the can. There's been a lot of blood sweat and tears on this one. Let's talk more when it's done.
